Sharon Denise Hill

Sharon Denise Hill of Osceola was born in Osceola, the daughter of RJ Hill and Geneva Ford Hill, on Nov. 19, 1958. Sharon was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church Frenchman’s Bayou where she sang in the choir. She was a graduate of Osceola High School and attended Arkansas Northeastern College.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Hill. Sharon passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 64.

Sharon is survived by two brothers, James (Glenda) Hill of Cordova, Tenn., and Lorenza (Frantrise) Hill of Jacksonville; three sisters, Clotis (Sterling) Wafford of Glenn Heights, Texas, Lula Hill and Vivian Hill, both of Osceola; loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at First Baptist Church, Frenchman’s Bayou, 7301 South Hwy. 61, Joiner, where Reverend Jimmy Johnson is the pastor.

Funeral services will begin at 12 noon following the visitation. Reverend Jimmy Johnson will deliver the eulogy with interment in Whiteside Cemetery.
