Peggy Louise Butler

Peggy Louise Butler, 79, of Powhatan, passed away May 10, 2023, at her home. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Soul Harbor Pentecostal Church in Cave City. Ms. Butler was born Jan. 29, 1944, in Joiner to Willie and Gene Goldman Barnes. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Butler; one brother, Donnie Barnes; and one sister, Barbara Wyatt.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen (Gary) Rowland of Batesville, Angela Taylor of Strawberry and Stephanie (Chris) Sublett of Little Rock; one brother, Billy Barnes of Lepanto; two sisters, Ann VanVickle of Crawfordsville and Janet (Billy) Harston of Powhatan; four grandchildren, Andrew Logan, Chris Walley, Heather VanWinkle and Mason Sublett; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, May 15, from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Louise Chapel in Joiner with Bro. Keith Stokes officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of the services.
