Richard D. Harris

Richard D. Harris, 90, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed from this life Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Riverways Manor Nursing Home in Van Buren, Mo. Born in Kennett, he was the son of the late Admiral Dewey and Mabel Harrison Harris. He was a longtime Kennett resident and a graduate of Kennett High School. Richard served 20 years in the United States Navy. After his time in the service, he was a welder and had a landscaping business with his brother. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Lester Leroy Harris.

Survivors include one son, Richard Owen Harris of Kennett, Mo.
