Sherry Lynn Shepherd

Sherry Lynn Shepherd, 61, of Grenada, Miss., passed away at her home May 2, 2023. She was a homemaker of the Pentecostal faith. Ms. Shepherd was born Dec. 30, 1961, in Hughes to Doc and Myrtle Ball Broughman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Shepherd; three brothers, Larry Broughman, Little Doc Broughman and James Broughman; one sister, Linda Kelly; and one grandson, Mitchell Shepherd, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Mitchell (Heather) Shepherd of Grenada, Miss.; two brothers, Gary Broughman and Michael Broughman of Keiser; three sisters, Barbara Linley of Keiser, Lisa Roberson of Coffeeville, Miss., and Debra Simmons of Arkansas; two grandchildren, Emily Shepherd and Michael Shepherd.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
