James Duane Privett

James Duane Privett, 38, of Blytheville, passed away April 28, 2023, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born to Julius Snead and Jaqueline Bogard in Blytheville on May 13, 1984. Mr. Privett worked as a factory worker. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Privett is survived by his father; his wife, Latoya Privett of Blytheville; one son, Jayden Privett of Blytheville; three daughters, Janiaya Privett, Derriauna Peoples and Taniaya Peoples, all of Blytheville; two brothers, Johnny Dillard and Julius Snead Jr., both of Blytheville; five sisters, Quanisha Bogard, Janita Snead, Olivia Dillard, all of Gosnell, Kelly Privett of Blytheville, and Jennifer Caruthers of Gosnell; as well as one grandson, Jaylen Thomas Jr.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, from 5-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday May 8, at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with bishop Henry Mays officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
