Doris M. Johnson

Doris M. Johnson was born March 5, 1949, in Luxora to the late Lorinze Danley and Elnader Watkins Danley. She departed this life Sunday, April 30, 2023, at The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Doris leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Willie L. Johnson of Blytheville; three daughters, Deloris Johnson of Jonesboro, Melissa Grant and Vanessa Stewart, both of Blytheville; four sons, Travis Johnson Sr. of Lenexa, Kan., Corey Johnson of Blytheville, Maurice Johnson of Jonesboro and Michael Johnson of Truman; four sisters, Corine Ware of Blytheville, Morliner Wilson of Memphis, Tenn., Mamie Elizabeth Ruff of Blytheville and Birdia Johnson of Raytown, Mo.; one brother, Lorenzo Danley of Bellville, Ill.; 25 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home & Cremation, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville, AR 72315. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, at Fisher Street COGIC International, 125 N. Fisher Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro.
