Franklin Linsey Borden, Sr.

Franklin Linsey Borden, Sr., 86, of Osceola passed away Feb. 20, 2023, at Harris Healthcare. He was a retired police officer, a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Borden was born Sept. 2, 1936, in Tuscumbia, Ala., to William and Betty Borden. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Ann Borden; and one son, Franklin Borden, Jr.

He is survived by one son, William Borden of Osceola; one daughter, Sandy Borden of Hot Springs; two brothers, Paul Borden of Etowah and Mack Borden of Arizona; and one sister, Barbara Borden of Missouri.

There will be a direct burial at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
