Brian Neil Pate

Monday, January 23, 2023

Brian Neil Pate fought many battles during the Persian Gulf wartime era, but unexpectedly lost his war at home with PTSD on Jan. 5, 2023. He was 53. Brian proudly served in the United States Army as an M48-M60 armor crewman for two years and five months. He was born with a big heart and a smile that would shine through a room. Brian loved an adventure and was a dreamer right to the end...making plans for the future with Jordan (Ridley), his wife, best friend and soul mate. Brian had a successful career with Kinder Morgan Inc. as the regional manager of Environmental Health & Safety and was also a firefighter at Armorel-Huffman Volunteer Fire Department. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and just being in nature. He was extremely talented and could figure out a way to make anything work. Brian will always be remembered as a practical joker who had a great sense of humor and quick wit. He was preceded in death by his father Bobby Dale Pate and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Brian is survived by his wife Jordan Pate of Gosnell; stepdaughter Carlee Ann Handford of Gosnell; mother Linda Pate of Leachville; two sisters, Tina Avant of Leachville and Trisha (Harold) Benham of Monette; sister-in-law Chloe Ridley of Gosnell; nephew Caden Gates of Gosnell; and other nieces, nephews, coworkers and life ong friends. Though he left us way before we were ready, he left us with a lifetime of memories to cherish and remember the love and fun times together. Brian will be forever loved and missed.

There was a memorial service at “Razer’s Place” located at 5376 East State Hwy. 137 in Armorel on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 2-4 p.m.
