Joann Jarrett

Joann Jarrett, 82, of Manila, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Manila Nursing Home.

Joann was born in Blytheville to C.L. and Hazel Aycock Jarrett and was a graduate of Blytheville High School. Joann worked for GMAC in Blytheville until the office closure, and then moved and worked in the GMAC office in Jonesboro until her retirement.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life partner of 56 years, Gwen Harrison; and sister, Sandra Jarrett McKay.

Joann is survived by her sister, Jimmie June Wallace and her husband Carl of Blytheville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with George Williamson officiating. There will be no visitation.
