Doris Malone “Boots” Richardson

Doris Malone “Boots” Richardson, 84, of Big Sandy, Tenn., passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at AHC in Paris, Tenn.

Born in Tomato to Avril and Lavelle Malone, Doris was of the Baptist faith. She loved sewing, fishing, crossword games and puzzles. She especially loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara and Lisa White; and husband, Lewis Richardson.

Doris is survived by her son, Terry Wallace White of Big Sandy, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Susan; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Malone of Big Sandy, Tenn.; and three sisters, Nadine Ashmore of Big Sandy, Tenn., Joyce Bates of Big Sandy, Tenn., and Teresa Stout of Daphne, Ala.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 9, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Holifield officiating. Burial followed in Dogwood Cemetery.
