Peggy A. Hyde Harrison

Peggy A. Hyde Harrison, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 at her home.

Peggy was born in Cooter, Mo., to Arnold and Ruth Walker Jones and was a retired nurse’s aide. Peggy was an avid reader and loved to travel. She generously volunteered her time with the St. Bernards Auxiliary, helping wherever she was needed within the hospital. Peggy enjoyed listening to gospel music and especially enjoyed listening to Elvis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy C. Hyde and Jerry Harrison; and sister, Patsy Pyke.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Trena Hyde of North Little Rock; special companion, Birchard “Rob” Roberts; niece, Tammy Pierson of Surprise, Ariz.; and nephew, Tim Pyke and his wife Kathy of O’Fallon, Mo.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Gary Hyde officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
