Fannie Mae Gary

Fannie Mae Gary, 81, of Osceola passed away Jan. 22, 2022, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was a homemaker, member of New Mt. Pleasant Christian Worship Center in Osceola and also on the motherboard. Ms. Gary was born Feb. 15, 1940, in Hughes to Lillie Mae Fields. She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Charlie Gary Sr.; one son, Anthony Morris; one brother, Willie McGinnis; two sisters, Pearl Bettes and Gearlean Jones.

She is survived by six sons, Paul Morris of Blytheville, Charlie Gary Jr. of Davenport, Iowa, Danny (Sondra) Gary of Jonesboro, Michael Gary, Terry Gary and Jerry Gary, all of Osceola; two daughters, Ethel (James) Patterson of Osceola, Angela Gary of Luxora; one sister, Evelyn McCray of Bronx, N.Y.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 28, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at New Mt. Pleasant Christian Worship Center in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Bishop Gregory Brown officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
