Gertrude S. Coulter

Gertrude S. Coulter, 94, of West Memphis, passed away Jan. 5, 2022.

Ms. Coulter was born March 15, 1927 in Memphis, Tenn., to Roy Thomas Shapard, Sr. and Gertrude Plumlee Shapard.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Ashley; sons, Jimmy and David Coulter; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Coulter was preceded in death by her parents and her son, T. Wayne Coulter.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. all in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private interment will follow the service.
