Bonnie White Purcell

Bonnie White Purcell, 86, of Leachville, widow of Charlie Purcell, passed from this life Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at the University of Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in Cardwell, Missouri to the late Elois and Ella Moser White she had been a Leachville resident for over 55 years. Bonnie was retired from the former Brown Shoe Company in Leachville and was a longtime member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bettye DeMent, Rose Underwood, Debbie White, and three infant siblings.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ron Moad of Leachville; grandchildren, Josh Nettles (Annie) of Raleigh, N.C., Bobby Moad (Stephanie) of Stillwater, Okla., and R.J. Moad of Leachville; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Delilah Goold; six sisters, DeWanda White of Kansas, Glenda Gage of Pocahontas, Joan Creed of Ashland City, Tenn., Becky Waymack of Jacksonville, Fla., Veda Hurt of Tennessee, Rita Aye of Lowell. She also leaves two very special friends, Betty Baldridge and Donza Nance.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell with Rev. Micky Goodwin, Rev. Jim DeMent and Rev. Sam Creed officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.
