Danny Ray Seaton

Danny Ray Seaton, 65, of Burdette, passed away Dec. 21, 2021 in Luxora. He was the water superintendent in Burdette and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Seaton was born Oct. 28, 1956 in Memphis, Tenn., to James Gilbert and Dorothy Geraldine Stevens Seaton. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Gilbert Seaton and Dorothy Geraldine May; and one brother, Thomas Franklin Seaton. Danny was the fire chief, constable and the water superintendent for the city of Burdette.

He is survived by two sons, Danny Seaton II (Chelsey) of Burdette and Kevin Davis of Blytheville; two daughters Jessica Young (Michael) of Fordyce and Brandy White (Antoine) of Luxora; two brothers Eldon Seaton of Parsons, Tenn., and Dewayne Seaton (Tracy) of Luxora; two sisters, Wanda Linebarger (Charles) of Bryant and Sandra Hayes (Willford) of Parsons, Tenn.; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, from 3-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with a cremation to follow. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
