Gail Sharp Morse

Gail Sharp Morse, 85, of Manila, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at her home.

Gail was born in Morrilton to Walter and Mary Bell McGowan Sharp. She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed her time being in the church. Gail was a homemaker and loved to sew, cook and spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.J. “Jay” Morse, Sr.; five brothers, Walter, Homer, Clinton, Jay and Noble Sharp; four sisters, Vurble Young, Gertrude Richards, Pauline Blackwood and Ressie Sharp.

Gail is survived by her children, Mary Lou Parsley of Manila, Linda Parnell of Manila, Coleman Lee Morse of Quitman, W.J. Morse, Jr. of Blytheville, and Donna Dehart of Manila.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery.
