Tammy Rena Price Draughn

Tammy Rena Price Draughn, 51, of Manila, passed from this life Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Blytheville, she was the daughter of the late Darrell Price, Sr. and had lived most of her life in Manila. She attended Manila High School and received her Emergency Medical Technician certification from Cotton Boll Vocational Technical School formerly of Burdette. She later received her Paramedic Certification from Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville. She was a former employee of Lifeline and had been employed by Pafford Ambulance from 2008-2014. Tammy enjoyed working in her profession, riding around and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew her can attest to the fact that she was going to have the last word.

Survivors include her daughter, Lacey Marie White of Wynne; her mother, Linda Kay Sims of Manila; three brothers, Darrell Price, Jr. and his wife Delana of West Point, Miss., David Sims and his wife Amanda of Jonesboro and B.J. Northington and his wife Melissa of Fayetteville. She also leaves three grandchildren, Haley Brown, Lana Brown and Natalie Van Dyke; and one great-granddaughter, Kaiden Hendrix.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. David Fair officiating. No visitation has been scheduled.
