Mary Merle Earwood

Mary Merle Earwood, 79, of Fayetteville, Ga., formerly of Osceola passed away Nov. 14, 2021 at her residence. She was a retired CNA and a member of Panhandle Baptist Church in Hampton, Ga. Ms. Earwood was born April 1, 1942, in Holukie, Miss., to John Russell and Myrtle Collins McCammon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Earwood; one son, John Russell Lee Earwood; four brothers, Russell McCammon, Wayne McCammon, Junior McCammon and Van McCammon; one sister, Patricia Wilbanks; and one granddaughter, Mary Maxine Stalcup.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (John) Tupps of West Palm Beach, Fla., Cindy Ellison of Fayetteville, Ga., and Libby (Ray) Ellison of Fayetteville, Ga.; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 18, from 12-2 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Memory Gardens in Blytheville with Rev. John Tupps officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
