Clarence Edward Chew

Clarence Edward Chew, 77, of Osceola, passed away Oct. 12, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Chew was born May 14, 1944, in Coldwater, Miss., to Willie and Evie Warner Chew. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorcus Chew; two brothers, Percy Chew and Eugene Chew; and one sister, Carol Hill.

He is survived by two daughters, Tanya Daniels of Chicago, Ill., and Julia Tealer of Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, David Chew of Luxora, Charles Chew of Luxora, Leon Chew of Blytheville; four sisters, Lillie Staten of Blytheville, Odessa Anderson of Osceola, Gloria Johnson of Osceola, Clara Cannon of Luxora; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 23,from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Rev. Moses Black officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
