Michael William Clark

Michael William Clark was born March 4, 1957, in Yarbro to Thomas Clark and Clara Mae Patterson Clark. He was raised from an early age by his brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Hazel Clark. Michael was a graduate of Armorel High School. Following high school, Michael went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a one hundred percent service-connected veteran. He received his Associates of Arts degree at Mississippi County Community College. While attending college, Michael worked as an intake clerk for the Mississippi County Veterans Service Office. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Johnny Frank Clark and Walter Clark; four sisters, Alma Jean Oats, Mae Emma Glanton, Lillie B Clark and Dora Lee Clark.

On Sept. 5, 2021, Michael began his sleep-in death at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 64. Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted fiance Ethel Caruthers of Jonesboro; one son, Moreno Martell “Snoop” Clark, and one daughter, Yulonda Yvette Williams both of Blytheville; three brothers, Ernest (Hazel) Clark of Blytheville, Thomas Clark of Mineral Wells, Texas, and Charles (Judy) Clark of Bethany, Okla.; one sister, Peggy (Lester) Titus of Willingboro, N.J.; four nieces that Michael considered his sisters, Dewania Turner, Dettris (Adron) Poole, Stacy Clark, all of Blytheville, and Jeneen Clark of Jonesboro; the Caruthers Family and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home, 1207 South Division Street, Blytheville. Entombment will be held on Monday, Oct. 18, at 12 noon at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye.

The processional will leave McDonald-Horne Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. enroute to the cemetery.
