Roy Lee Marshall of Blytheville was born July 30, 1961, in Osceola to Raymond Marshall of Blytheville and the late Julia Robinson. Mr. Marshall was an assistant basketball coach, a member of Omega Psi Phi Inc, as well as a Freemason. Mr. Marshall passed away Sept. 30, 2021, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Robinson, one son Larry Croom, two brothers Sam Robinson and Tommy Mosley, and one sister Mary Robinson.

He is survived by his father, Raymond Marshall of Blytheville; six sons, Regindel Jones of Conway, Roy Lee Marshall, Jr. “Rudy” and Rashaud Marshall, both of Blytheville, Ryan Williams of Missippippi, Jay Turner of Osceola and Christopher Harris, Sr. of Trumann; 12 daughters Tashara Person (Jones) of Jonesboro, Elise James of Chicago, Ill., Ronnica Marshall of Jonesboro, Tyra Marshall of Osceola, Kyra Marshall of Washington, D.C., Sade Cooley of Chicago, Ill., Latesha Ervin of Indiana, Rakiya Wilkins of Jonesboro, Whitney Henry of Denver, Colo., LaShonda Hughes (Anthony) of Jonesboro and Jakeyna Johnson and Jaqueylen Johnson both of Texas; three brothers, Charles Chalk of Osceola, Bobby Chalk of Los Angeles, Calif., and Ed Robinson of Osceola; three sisters, Freddie Thomas of Nashville, Tenn., and Charlie May Chalk Banks and Dorothy Smith, both of Blytheville; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home Osceola. The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola with Pastor Sammie Nelson officiating. The burial will be held at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
