Georgia Maxine Wilson

Georgia Maxine Wilson, 88, of Jonesboro, formerly of Leachville, passed from this life Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Heber Springs, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruthie Belle Mayfield Winfrey. Georgia was a 1951 graduate of Heber Springs High School and had been an employee of the former Lanes Nursing Home of Monette for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Archie Botkins; her son, William Botkins; and one brother, Mott Bowen.

Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Reves of Jonesboro; two brothers, Larry Bowen of Montgomery, Minn., and R.E. Bowen of Newport; her sister, Betty Badders of Heber Springs. She also leaves two grandchildren, Jennifer Marchand and Flay Lafeyette Reves, Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Kalla Fay Marchand.
