Christopher Michael Trapp

Christopher Michael Trapp, 37, of Osceola, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at his home.

Christopher was born in Chickasha, Okla., to Michael and Kathy Sayre Trapp and was an employee of J.R.S. Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing. Christopher was an avid Sooners football fan and never missed watching a game. He was a wonderful father and always loved to spend time with his children, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Christopher leaves his children, Christopher Jayden Trapp and Austin Blake Trapp of Caruthersville, Mo.; mother, Kathy Lynn Thompson and her husband David of Marie; brothers, Joshua Austin Trapp and his wife Tasha Nicole Trapp of Gosnell and Dylan Cole Trapp and Alanna Hampton of Manila; sister, Chelsi Deann Massey and her husband Dylan Massey of Manila; and the mother of his children, Kimberley Blake Trapp of Caruthersville, Mo.

A visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 2, from 4-6 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, at 207 Niki Drive in Blytheville, all day, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
