Darnell Hayden Wood

Darnell Hayden Wood, 57, of Bassett, passed away Friday, Aug. 27, 2021. She was born Feb. 16, 1964, in Turrell to William Elisa and Billie Madge Hayden. She was married for many years to Dennis Wood. Darnell loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, needlepoint, and sewing for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Logan (Alecia) Wood; daughter, Ashley Nicole Wood (Bryne Winston); grandchildren, Kaylee Nicole Wood and Elena Clare Winston; sister, Theresa (Joe) Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rickey Lynn Hayden.

A graveside service will be held at Tyronza Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2. Interment will be at Tyronza Cemetery.
