Demarcus Tyrell Riley, Sr. of Jonesboro was born Dec. 23, 1996, in Blytheville to Jarmain Riley of Blytheville and the late Tonya Rodgers. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Riley passed away Aug. 27, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 24. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tonya Rodgers.

He is survived by his father, Jarmain Riley of Blytheville; his son, Demarcus Tyrell Riley, Jr. of Jonesboro; seven brothers, Jermaine C. Riley, Jr. of Jonesboro, Treyvon Riley and Ledondrae Riley, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Dekayreon Tucker of Atlanta, Ga., and Jermaine R. Riley, Jamari Riley, and Jayde Jacobs all of Jonesboro; three sisters, Keyuna Riley Williams (Dvantrell, Sr. ), Kyraina Slater and Ariana Slater, all of Blytheville; his grandparents, Peggy Riley of Jonesboro, Charles Ware and Tommy Rogers, both of Blytheville, and his great-grandmother, Corrine Ware of Blytheville.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, from 9-10 a.m. at True Light M.B. Church in Blytheville, with the funeral following immediately after at 10 a.m. Pastor David Clark will be officiating. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
