Carmelita Fennell

Carmelita Fennell of Sherwood was born Dec. 26, 1956, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Sammie Moore and the late Sarah Lee Hill Woodruff. She was a factory worker as well as a member of New Life of Faith Apostle Ministries in Little Rock. Ms. Fennell passed away Aug. 12, 2021, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock at the age of 64. She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie Moore; mother, Sarah Lee Hill Woodruff; one brother, Sunny Moore, Jr.; and two sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Oliver (Venola) of Sherwood and Derrick Oliver of Jonesboro; one daughter, Adrian (Dewayne) Bingham, Jr. of Jonesboro; three brothers, Nathaniel Moore, Sr. of Blytheville, Walter Woodruff, Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., and Robert Woodruff of Tyronza; and 10 grandchildren.

The visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 21, from 12-2 p.m. at Morning Star M.B. Church in Blytheville, with the visitation immediately following at 2 p.m., Apostle Timothy J. Brown officiating. The burial will be held at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
