Wilbert Earl “Huck” Brown

Wilbert Earl “Huck” Brown was born Nov. 11, 1948, in Blytheville to Gertude Mitchell Brown and Willie Brown. Mr. Wilbert departed this life on Aug. 4, 2021, at the age of 72 at Harris Healthcare in Osceola. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gertude Mitchell Brown and Willie Brown; brothers, Marvin “Cat” Brown, Robert “BJ” Brown, Roy “Chester” Brown, Clifton R. Brown, Sr.; sister, Shirley Fowler Andrews; and a very special aunt/mother, Helen Mitchell.

Wilbert leaves to cherish his memory, his only child, daughter Cathy B. (Frederick. Sr.) Martin of Blytheville; one living sibling, Margaret Brown Davis of Blytheville; his aunt, Walter Rean Mitchell of Blytheville; three grandchildren, Frederick Martin, Jr. of Osceola, Kaneshia Martin of Little Rock and Jaden Martin of Fayetteville; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his lifelong friend, Mr. Terry Franklin of Blytheville, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, from 12-1:45 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with a graveside service following at 2 p.m. at Memory Gardens in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
