Clarence Mitchell Barkley

Clarence Mitchell Barkley, 85, of Proctor died Aug. 8, 2021 peacefully at his home surrounded by love ones. He was a retired mechanic. Mr. Barkley was born April 28, 1936, to Lee Allen and Ida Mae Malone Barkley. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Raymond, Dud, Marvin and Billy Wayne Barkley; four sisters, Marie Trim, Opal Hampton, Margaret Pollan and Dolly Mae Barkley.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Barkley of Proctor; four sons, Randy Barkley of Mount Olive, Miss., Russell Barkley of Hughes, Gary Barkley of Proctor, Trent Barkley of Hughes; one daughter, Karen Smart of Bartesville, Okla.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
