Lois Venita Eaton Marsh White, 97, a lifelong resident of Blytheville, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2021, at the Gosnell Healthcare in Gosnell. Born to David E. and Bessie Taylor Eaton in Blytheville, she was the beloved matriarch of her family and the retired owner/operator of White’s Fine Antiques. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church for many years. Lois also had many businesses over the years including taxi cabs and selling school buses to selling monkeys. However, the antique business was her love and passion. She loved the beauty of antiquities and traveling to antique shows to see what kind of “treasures” she could find.

Lois loved talking about antiques, the Arkansas cotton fields, eating a good pig sandwich or fried shrimp and cooking big family dinners with her sisters. She had beautiful white hair and an infectious laugh. Lois never met a stranger and everyone loved her that met her.

Sadly, she has experienced the loss of many loved ones in her long life. Her parents, both of her husbands, Jack Marsh and Robert “Bob” White; her children, Debbye Beaver and Kim Marsh; sisters, Sita Halstead, Hat Boydston and Susie Thompson. She is rejoicing in Heaven with them and they are probably cooking up a big meal for the angels.

She is greatly missed by her granddaughters, Melissa Juberg and Mindi Coleman, (who called her Mimi); great-grandchildren, Kaitie Juberg, Blake Juberg, Harvey, Harrison and Marshall Coleman; son-in-law, Terry Beaver; grandson-in-law, Kurt Juberg; nieces, Donna Vest and Danna Haddad; nephews, Pete Halstead, Bo and David Thompson and their children; and special family friends, Bear, Sharon and Nell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, at 11 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Wilcoxson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time, also at Cobb Funeral Home. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery will be private. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
