Terry John Ferguson

Terry John Ferguson, 49, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Terry was born in Kennett, Mo., to Sonny and Carolyn Glidewell Ferguson. He was the warehouse manager at Motion Industries and a member of Holland Baptist Church. Terry was very active within the church and was the van driver for all of the youth activities. He was a collector of ball caps and was an avid fisherman. Terry never met a stranger and had a big heart. He loved spending time with his family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn.

Terry leaves his wife, Kim Rucker Ferguson of the home; father, Sonny Ferguson and his wife Shirley of Hayti, Mo.; daughter, Brittany Hogan and her husband Cody of Leachville; stepdaughter, Alicia Thompson and her husband Chris of Derby, Kan.; sister, Tina Keller and her husband Harry of Steele; grandchildren, Annelise, Elijah, Morgan and Aaron; great-niece who was raised in the home, Kaylee Doucette; brother-in-law, Jimmie Rucker of Gosnell; sister-in-law, Lynn Powell and her husband Greg of Blytheville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, at 10 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Dunavant officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
