Tonya Rogers was born Jan. 4, 1976, in Blytheville to Tommy and Betty Rudd Rogers. Tonya was of the Baptist faith and was a member of True Gospel Church under the leadership of Reverend Carl Rogers. Tonya was a graduate of Blytheville High School Class of 1994 and worked as a certified nursing assistant.

She was preceded in death by her mother. Tonya transitioned on Tuesday June 29, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., at the age of 45.

She leaves to forever cherish her memories her father Tommy Rogers of Blytheville; two sons, Jermaine Riley of Jonesboro and Demarcus Rogers of Blytheville; three daughters, Keyuna (Quantrell) Williams of Blytheville, Ariana Slater and Kyriana Slater, both of Blytheville; three brothers, Darrell Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Jr. and Mario Rogers all of Blytheville; three sisters, Demetria Rogers, LaKeshia (Jerry Northern) Sanders and Betty (Percy) Wright, all of Blytheville; five grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 7, from 10 a.m until 12 noon at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, 534 Maple Street Blytheville, where Reverend Douglas Echols is the pastor.

Funeral services will be conducted on July 7, at 12 noon. Reverend Carl Rogers will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
