Margaret May "Margie" Ferguson

Margaret May "Margie" Ferguson, 71, of Leachville, passed from this life Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Grand Haven, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Gene and Claudine Barger Giles and had been a longtime Michigan resident before making her home in Northeast Arkansas in 2014. "Margie" was a 1969 graduate of Grand Haven High School and had worked for Robbinswood Assisted Living Community in Grand Haven. She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended People of Praise United Pentecostal Church in Leachville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Puffer, and one brother, William Goodin.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Roy Ferguson of Leachville; one son, Kurt Stillson of Superior, Wis.; two daughters, Amy Giles of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Tara Nash of North Muskegon, Mich.; one brother, Robert Goodin of Fennville, Mich.; one sister, Linda Goodin of Muskegon, Mich. She also leaves six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from noon until service time.
