James Elton Milam

James Elton Milam, 88, of Trumann, died June 21, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a retired machinist and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Milam was born May 29, 1933, in Crittenden County to Jessie Elvin and Goldie Mae Helms Milam. He was preceded in death by his parents, both his wives, Mildred Stracener and Carol Milam, and one brother, Don Milam.

He is survived by one son, Jimmy Milam of Pleasant Plains; one daughter, Teresa Hood of Tyronza; three brothers, Clayton Milam of Bay, Edward Milam of Flint, Mich., and Ray Milam of Payneway; two sisters, Ovon Bailey of Trumann and Karen Darlette Collins of Naples, Fla.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 26, at 10 a.m. at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto with Brother Gary Andrews officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza is in charge of all arrangements.
