Samuel Lee Allen

Samuel Lee Allen, 66, of Wilson died June 13, 2021, at Harris Healthcare in Osceola. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. John Full Gospel Church in Osceola. Mr. Allen was born Aug. 28, 1954, in Parkin to Oscar Bausley and Matilda Allen Love. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Bausley, and one sister, Vanessa Bausley.

He is survived by his mother, Matilda Love of Wilson; one son, Randy English of Osceola; one daughter, Cynthia Hooks of Jonesboro; three sisters, Sarah Peeples-Jackson of Country Club Hills, Ill., Alhora Gibbs of Chicago, Ill., and Farrah Love of Gosnell; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 19, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at St. John Full Gospel Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Evadale, with Pastor Ed Richardson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge.
