Sandra Louise Clark

Sandra Louise Clark, 60, of Monette, passed from this life Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital-North in Sherwood. Born in Leachville to the late Pete and Tootsie Thomas Towell, Sandra was a 1979 graduate of Leachville High School. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she especially loved her role as grandmother and cherished every moment with them. Raised in Leachville, she had lived 15 years in Hot Springs before returning to the Buffalo Island area in 1997. She had worked many years in child care and was a former employee of Little Magical Minds in Monette. Sandra also loved working in her flower beds and traveling with friends and family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leachville and had most recently been attending the First Baptist Church in Monette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, T.J. Mathis, and a nephew, Mathew Towell.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Jack Clark of the home; one son, Marshall Clark of Monette; two daughters, Savannah Jane Myers of Vilonia and Jessica Raven Clark of Leachville; two grandsons, Connor Myers and Peyton Myers, both of Vilonia; one brother, Jeff Towell of Monette.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 4, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Macey Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers include James Pendergrass, Stephen Pendergrass, Houston Pendergrass, Wyatt Cornish, Wes Cornish and Joe Cantrell.
