Janice Ann "Mamaw" McLean

Janice Ann "Mamaw" McLean, 74, of Keiser, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 in Eads, Tenn. She was born Sept. 8, 1946, in Keiser. Janice was retired from Keiser Elementary School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Keiser but recently moved to Eads, Tenn.Janice was married to Tony McLean for 55 years before his passing in 2019.Janice was most passionate about spending time with her family. Her grandkids and great-grandkids were her heart! She was kind and selfless and always thought of others before herself. Her second passion was cooking for her family, watching cooking shows, and recently published a "McLean family cookbook" in honor and memory of her husband, that her family and friends will always treasure. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Viola and Lawrence Cox; two brothers; three sisters; her husband, Tony McLean; and her daughter, Patricia Ann McLean.

She is survived by two sons, Terry (Dawn) McLean and Kevin (Lisa) McLean; daughter, Ronda Hood; two sisters, Fannie Cartwright and Gracie Camp; five grandchildren, Jordan McLean, Hunter McLean, Joshua McLean, Ryan Smith and Tyler Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle McLean, Drake McLean, Brailee McLean, Avery McLean and Allison McLean.

Visitation was Saturday, May 1, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Keiser, Bro. Todd Vinson and Bro. Raymond Routon officiating the services. Burial was at Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah. The family requests that any memorial donations be sent to Keiser First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, or American Diabetes Association. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola was in charge.
