Doug Stacy, 67, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home.

Doug was born in New Castle, Ind., to Kermit Stacy and Thelma Gaither. He was a retired air traffic controller at Eaker Air Force Base and Nucor-Yamato Steel, and was a school bus driver for Gosnell School District. Doug attended Gosnell Baptist Church and was a former deacon at Ridgecrest Baptist Church where he also taught Sunday school. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm. Doug loved shooting guns and was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, boating or playing golf and was also passionate about woodworking. Doug loved his wife Diana and was a very devoted husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma.

Doug leaves his wife, Diana Cummings Stacy of the home; two children, Deirick Stacy and his wife Mindy of Anderson, Ind., and Keely Stacy of Springfield, Ill.; his father, Kermit Stacy of Nokomis, Fla.; brother, Gregory Stacy and his wife Jill of Yorktown, Ind.; sister, Venus Coppernoill and her husband Bill of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Garrett Ruddick, Brianna Stacy, Deven Stacy and Emily Stacy.
