William E. “Bill” Ward

William E. “Bill” Ward of Blytheville passed away March 20, 2021.

Bill graduated from Osceola High School in 1956 and later that year married his one true loved Evelyn L. Taggart. Bill began his printing career in high school and opened Quality Printing in 1982, finishing with 66 years in the printing trade. Bill retired from the Arkansas Army National Guard with 21 years of service. A man of faith, Bill was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Blytheville. He was an animal lover and supporter of the Blytheville Humane Society.

Bill leaves his wife, Evelyn Ward of the home; son, Bob Ward (Sheila) of Blytheville; daughter, Judy Holland (Reggie) of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Amy Willis (Andy) of Jonesboro, Danny Ward (Amy) of Little Rock and Mitch Holland of Springdale; and four great-grandchildren, Murray, Ledger, Emerson and Henry.

The family has many wonderful memories and therefore no memorial service will be held. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Blytheville Humane Society or First Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
