Sammie Joe Robinson

Sammie Joe Robinson was born Dec. 22, 1966, to the late J.C. Robinson and Julia Mae Chalk. Sammie departed this life Monday, March 22, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sammie leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters, Brittney Seals and Brittanica Seals, both of Jonesboro, and Shomari Franklin of Kalamazoo, Mich.; three sisters, Dorothy Smith of Blytheville, Freddie Thomas of Clarksville, Tenn., and Charlie Mae Chalk of Blytheville; four brothers, Charles Chalk and Eddie Robinson, both of Osceola, Roy Lee Marshall of Jonesboro and Bobby Chalk of Los Angeles, Calif.; a granddaughter, Treasure Lewis of Jonesboro; a special friend, Jackie Garrett of Osceola. He also leaves a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
