Belinda Williams Robertson

Belinda Williams Robertson, 56, of Trumann, beloved wife, colleague, and friend, departed this life on March 19, 2021, from Flo and Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro, to be with her SAVIOR.

Belinda was born July 9, 1964, to the late Franchelle and Clem Williams of Newport. Maternal grandparents were the late William Lewis and Sarah Rayburn Huey Lewis also of Newport.

Belinda was an exceptionally intelligent and compassionate person who excelled in all endeavors while prioritizing helping others. She was valedictorian of Newport High School Class of 1982. She graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas with a Masters in Nursing Science--Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and from Lyon College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Her employment career included nursing positions at Craighead County Nursing Center, St. Bernards Healthcare, Northeast Arkansas Federal Credit Union, and finally Success Credit Union in Jonesboro where she progressed from a part time operations assistant in 2012 to Chief Operations Manager in 2019. Belinda was a member of the 1st General Baptist Church in Trumann.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Robertson of Trumann, and "fur babies", Zoe and Oakley.

The family sincerely thanks Success Credit Union of Jonesboro and 1st General Baptist Church of Trumann for the love and support shown to Belinda and Brian, especially during the time of illness and loss.

Funeral services will be at 10 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Darrell Miller and Carl Heckmann officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport following the service. Visitation will be at Emerson's from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 26.
