Timothy Cloyce Blount, 59, of Blytheville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at his home. He was born July 18, 1961, on the former Blytheville Air Force Base, Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a lifelong resident of Gosnell.

He was preceded in death by Cloyce Gene Blount, a Korean War veteran, also an Air Force retiree; his loving mother, Sherlon Rachael Blount; Pamela Lynn Blount; a wife, Donna Mitchell Blount.

Survivors include four siblings, Mark Eugene Blount, Perrin “Perry” Avery Blount of West Fork, Eric Lynn Blount of Gosnell, Sharon Angela Prince of Ponte Vedra, Fla.; his loving companion, Charlotte; his dog, that stayed by his side.

Tim attended Gosnell Schools from kindergarten until graduation in 1979. He was a licensed manufactured home installer in Arkansas and Missouri, owned and operated Blount's Auto Parts and Blount's Mobile Home Parts and Rentals in Gosnell. Tim was commonly known to think of others before himself and widely regarded as a hard worker, not afraid of very challenging jobs. He gained profit from his satisfaction of helping those less fortunate and folks in general always remarked on his kindness and big heart.

Tim was a humble king that wore his soiled clothes of his labor without shame. He took satisfaction in it. And at the end of a long trying work day with his crews, they revealed in the days accomplishments. His crew respected him and his friends welcomed him with a kingly cheer.
