Isaac Johnson Jr.

Isaac Johnson Jr. was born Oct. 6, 1952, to the late Isaac Johnson Sr. and Mary Ellen Davis Johnson in Luxora. Isaac departed this life Sunday, March 6, 2021, at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Chicago, Ill., at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Isaac was a former police officer with Blytheville Police Department.

Isaac leaves to cherish his memories four sons, Isaac Johnson III (Jamie), Timothy Johnson, and Bobby Mhoon, all of Blytheville, and Isaac Johnson IV , of Junction City, Kan.; three daughters, Kim Johnson of Junction City, Kan., Kathy Carter and Karron Carter, both of Blytheville; three sisters, Mary Brown Lee of Memphis, Tenn., Barbara Johnson of Chicago, Ill., and Shirley Johnson of Blytheville; one brother, Johnny Johnson of Chicago, Ill.; his first wife and dear friend, Clora Johnson Wells, and close friend, George Wells, both of Blytheville; 29 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday March 13, at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
