Jack Reams, 86, of Gosnell, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Jack was born in Blytheville to Lester and Carmen Crawford Reams. He retired from Goodyear as a manager and was of the Methodist faith. Jack served his country with honor in the Arkansas National Guard, and previously served on the Gosnell School Board. He loved the outdoors and was constantly out working in his yard, and especially loved going fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Margaret Ann Reams; his parents; and granddaughter, Alivia Tilley.

Jack leaves his children, Jackie Reams II and his wife Jennifer of Blytheville, Carmen Prince and her husband Kevin of Millington, Tenn., and Terri Ledbetter of Gosnell; brother, Dickie Reams and his wife Nita of Gosnell; and grandchildren, Jennifer Clay and her husband Mitchell of Jonesboro, Stephanie Tilley of Gosnell, Sarah Griffin and Carter Griffin, both of Marion, Tony Liberty and Will Liberty, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Callie Reams and Jake Reams, both of Dell; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Holifield officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 80 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another. Face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
