Bertha Mae Boyd Scroggins

Bertha Mae Boyd Scroggins of Dell was born June 19, 1953, in Holland, Mo., to the late James W. Boyd and the late Elsie Morse Boyd. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Scroggins passed away March 2, 2021, in Kennett, Mo., at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Boyd; her mother, Elsie Morse Boyd; her husband, Jimmy Dale Scroggins, Sr.; one son, Jimmy Dale Scroggins, Jr.; three brothers, James C. Boyd, Larry Boyd and Jimbo Boyd; and three sisters, Fay Dady, Bobbie Ibarra and Elsie Marie Mullins.

She is survived by two daughters, Ada Scroggins of Burnsville, Miss., and Rebecca (Ronald) Hamlett of Kennett, Mo.; two brothers, Jessie Boys of Clearlake and Herbert Boyd of Gosnell; one sister, Dorothy Mason of Gosnell; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held, Saturday, March 6, at 2 p.m. with pastor Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home Blytheville.
