Nettie Jarrett

Nettie Jarrett, 92, of Blytheville, passed away March 2, 2021, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Nettie was born in Alabama to Edward and Elive Hudson Lynn. She was a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Nettie loved her church and was an active member in the church. At church she was a member of the WMU. She was a loving, friendly person and was always ready to help anyone. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, needlepoint, and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Nettie enjoyed the outdoors and loved to garden and going camping. She loved her family and enjoyed having family get togethers and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Earl Jarrett; her parents; grandson, Rex Allan Lowery; four sisters; and one niece and one nephew.

Nettie leaves her daughters, Brenda Clark of Blytheville and Sandra Jarrett of Jonesboro; brother, Charles Lynn of Blytheville; sister, Vickie Lebo of Deering, Mo.; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8, at 2:30 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Zach Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 80 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another. Face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
