Tommy Leroy Kerley Sr., 56, of Manila died unexpectedly on Feb. 15, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Not only did we lose our dad we also lost our best friend. He was an amazing man, laid back and easy going. Never said no to any of us and gave us all he could, so we never had to struggle. His biggest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren. He instilled in his family the importance of hard work, honesty, and that family always came first.

Tommy spent most of his life working with livestock and loved everything to do with cattle. He was a Jeff Gordon Nascar fan and was known to serenade us singing his favorite song Talladega by Eric Church. Tommy had an infectious smile and many enjoyed visits with him riding around Mallard Lake.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Kerley; his brother, Michael Kerley; and his grandmother, Rosie Lutz.

Tommy leaves behind his mother, Shirley Hice of Versailles, Mo.; two sons, Tommy Kerley Jr. of Manila and Brandon Kerley of Waycross, Fla.; five daughters, Tonya (Steven) Brown of Manila, Tara Welch of Jonesboro, Honesty Holt (Tiffany Kerley) of Manila, Cheyenne Beckman and Katie Kerley, both of Okeechobee, Fla.; lots of grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Kerley Sr. of Ravenden and Samual (Krystal) Rainey of Versailles, Mo.; two sisters, Anita (Randy) Lance of Trumann and Leola Benham of Manila; two nephews, TK Kerley and Kristopher Kerley; along with other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tommy was truly one of a kind and respected by all. He will be missed by many.
