Bobby Dean Martin

Bobby Dean Martin, 71, of Leachville, passed from this life Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late Raymond and Opal Mouzy Martin and was a 1969 graduate of Central High School in Caraway. Bobby was a ginner for Adams Land Company for many years until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed building model cars, watching television and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wava Puckett Martin; two brothers, Veon Martin and Carl Martin; two sisters, Patricia Humes and Annie Weeks; and one nephew Roger Daggett.

Survivors include his son, Randy Martin of Jonesboro; daughter, Lisa Tucker (Jeremy) of Caraway; one brother, Paul Martin of Caraway; one sister, Millie Sellers of Jonesboro. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Hunter Martin, Briana Brock, Brant Martin, Dylan Martin, Bradley Tucker, Sadie Lawson and Braden Tucker; and two great-grandchildren.

The family received visitors from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Funeral services were private. In compliance with the state's directive regarding COVID-19, attendance was limited and face masks and social distancing required.
