JT Davis, 80, of Villa Rica, Ga., former Osceola area resident, passed from this life Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at the Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. Born and raised in Northeast Arkansas, he was a 1958 graduate of Missco High School near Osceola. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired area farmer. After retirement, JT and his wife, Ramona, made their home in Douglas County Georgia 24 years ago. JT loved watching high school and college basketball games and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of the Brinkley Chapel Baptist Church near Osceola. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy "Ramona" Davis of the home; one son, Jeff Davis (Beth) of Villa Rica; three daughters, Karen Wilson (David) of Osceola, Kim Bullion (Bill), of Douglasville, Ga., and Susie Hovis (Jim) of Douglasville, Ga.; two brothers, Ben Davis and Jimmy Davis, both of Osceola. He also leaves eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Colton, Kaitlyn, Drew, Cameron, Lauren, Jim and Melanie, and one great-granddaughter, Emery.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jerry Weathers officiating. Serving as active pallbearers are Colton Bryan, Drew Bullion, Cameron Wilson, Jim Hovis, John Hicks and Justin Abercrombie. Honorary pallbearers are David Davis, Brad Davis, Blaine Brewington, Clark Brewington and Austin Metheny. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at the funeral home.
