Alice Faye Dresbach Rogers

Alice Faye Dresbach Rogers, 89, of Blytheville, passed from this life Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born to Jacob and Eula Dresbach in Whitton, she was a retired teller at the Wilson American State Bank and a past accountant of the Lee Wilson Company where she was employed for 42 years. A faithful member of the Wilson First Baptist Church, Faye was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved going camping, traveling and playing Canasta card games. In her younger years she loved bowling and was also an accomplished cook. As shown by her work history, Faye had strong work ethics and values. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James F. Rogers; son, Floyd Rogers; daughter, Helen Rogers; and siblings, John Dresbach, Bill Dresbach, J.C. Dresbach, Frances Grace Gray and Jane Barnes.

Fay is survived by her children, Paul and Carol Rogers of Wilson, Richard “Ricky” Rogers of Strong; grandchildren, Taylor Rogers of Memphis, Tenn., and Rebecca and Garrett Johnson of Jonesboro.

Funeral services, under the direction of Cobb Funeral Home, will be Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson First Baptist Church in Wilson with Rev. Paul Huenefeld officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 until service time also at the church. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery, 2206 U.S. Hwy. 64, Marion AR 72364. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.cobbfuneralhome.com. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 80 people are allowed to gather inside of the church and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another. Face masks are required to enter the building and worn at all times.
