Mary Alice Tacker

Mary Alice Tacker, 63, of Luxora died Jan. 29, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a housewife, member of Rosa Baptist in Luxora and a Sunday school teacher at Faith Chapel in Osceola. Mrs. Tacker was born Feb. 3, 1957, in Luxora to William Edward and Mary Reed Grubbs. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Buddy Grubbs; two sisters, Peggy Kelly and Betty Hutcherson.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Tacker of Luxora; one son, Hezekiah Tacker of Luxora; one sister, Retha Turner of Blytheville; and three grandchildren, Clay Kent of Luxora, Hezekiah Tacker, Jr. of Dyess and Kayla Tacker of Manila.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Bro. Randy Jumper officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
